Each Flight Nurse must have a minimum of two years critical care experience and be certified in ACLS, BTLS (or other acceptable trauma course), PALS, NRP, and CCRN, CEN, or CFRN. They must go through an extensive training program that includes a cadaver skill lab, surgery rotation for endotracheal intubations, rotations through a number of the hospitals critical care units, and flight physiology.

Each Flight Paramedic must have a minimum of two years critical field experience and be certified in ACLS, BTLS, PALS, and NRP. They must also go through an extensive training program, which includes procedures performed in cadaver lab, endotracheal intubations, rotations through a number of hospital critical care units, and flight physiology.
